Legal studies minor
Syracuse University offers a broad array of courses in the liberal arts that give undergraduates and graduates alike a solid grounding in the law. The Carnegie Legal Reporting Program director can advise Newhouse students on which courses, taken as electives or as part of Syracuse University's Legal Studies Minor, would best prepare you for a career in journalism.

Is the minor right for you? Which courses from it would help you in your reporting? We're here to help put the minor -- and what it can teach undergraduates about the law -- in a journalism perspective.

Other students — in prelaw, for example — can make similar uses of this program. Talk to us — well help you chart the path that makes the most sense for you.
